The Ember Hills is a region on the west edge of [[ Vil Taroth ]] along the East bank of the [[ Glistening River ]].
It is known for it’s bright orange flowers that have uses in various alchemical recipes. These flowers bloom only when orcish blood has been spilt on them during battle, and the orcs of the region collect the orange flowers and use them to dye their clothes and decorate their camps. It is common to find a giant’s skull hanging above the camp entrance covered in Ember Flower.
The Ember hills are home to somewhere between 10 and 30 orcish clans, though no exact record has even been made. Among these clans The Blood Clan, known for their above-average fighting prowess and birthplace of Kitharen Bloodclan.
The East gate of [[ Rapid Crossing ]] is covered with warning signs, cautioning travellers not to venture further Northward toward the Ember hills, but many do not heed this warning.
The orcs of the ember hills are nomadic and are usually never found staying in one place for long. This has proven a useful tactic against the large numbers of people who venture into the hills hoping to prove themselves by fighting a fearsome orc clan and returning with useful ember flower.
