Thunderwharf is a large city located at the convergence of the North Tar and South Tar rivers, where they run into Deep Lake.

Thunderwharf is also an administration hub, hosting the second largest noble population of any Manan city, second only to Manahelm.

Notable Locations

The Falls

The falls of Thunderwharf are famous around the world, known for their beauty and power. The falls are used as a source of power for the city, notably powering giant cranes that move boats up and down the falls. The large amount of mechanical power created from the falls makes Thunderwharf a common emmigration destination for craftsmen of all sorts, especially Dwarves from the Keel cities, who are accustomed to mechanical tools.

Breakwater Prison

Breakwater Prison is located in a set of tunnels accessible from the low side of the falls. It is not certain who or what created the tunnels, but they contain long passages with small alcoves on either side. The Manan governement installed iron bars in the majority of these alcoves, to house prisoners.

Breakwater Prison is the highest security prison in Northern Meia, and has numerous specialist wards for magic users, elementals, and sentient monsters.
