Manahelm is the capital of The Kingdom of Mana and home to the royal family as well as a large portion of the aristocracy. It is also the largest individual city in the Meian Sea Region.
There are three layers of stone walls within Manahelm, one around the castle, one around an older town edge and the last around the current town edge. There are slums outside the outermost wall.

Docks
Manahelm has 3 major docks along its coast, Mainport, Eastport and Royalport. Mainport is a giant dock capable of handling 30 Frigate or Galleon type ships at a time and is used by the majority of the city. Use of Mainport is subject to fees based on the size of the vessel and the length of stay. See table below for base prices. Eastport is a shallower area which is used by fishing vessels and local residents. Royalport is a dock jutting out of the cliff below Coldridge Castle, which has an elevator and crane system to move cargo directly from the dock up into the castle.

Coldridge Castle
Coldridge Castle is the seat of power of the monarch and their family. It is built upon a cliff in the West section of Manahelm.
Gildmarket Esplanade
Gildmarket Esplanade is a long street that runs along the harbour between Mainport and Eastport and is home to many high end shops and restaurants. It got it’s name from the oil lamp poles which were crafted by an expert group of dwarves and inlaid with gold.
Rainbow Square
Rainbow square is a market square in the centre of Manahelm which houses hundreds of market stalls. The majority of the stalls are wooden structures with colourful cloth rooves, giving the square it’s name.
Little Alley
Little Alley is road in the northwest part of town where everything is half the size of the standard houses. It is a cultural icon and houses hundreds of halflings who seem proud to have their own place in the world. Notably, it is also home to a small population of rare tiny creatures, such as fairies and sprites.
The Gut Hole
The Gut Hole is a market on the edge of Eastport where fisherman sell their catch. It gets its name from a large hole dug into the ground which connects to a sewer system and takes away the unusable parts of the fish and other sea creatures.
Long Rock
Long Rock is a magically created rock formation that shelters Manahelm’s harbour from the sea, as well as providing defense against naval military assualt. There is a lighthouse watchtower at the end of Long Rock which permanently houses a military officer. The Long Rock watchtower also has a pulley system which can raise a giant iron chain net to seal off the harbour to protect against attacking forces.
