Alira Overview
Alira is a country to the North of the Iron Empire. It is a small nation that consists mostly of isolated farming villages.
The east of Alira contains the The Old Wood.
Power Structure
Alira is ruled by a council of elders from a group of families said to have ancient ties to the champions of Greandor (The Lights).
They preach that millenia ago, Greandor charged the 6 champions to maintain order throughout the human realm, and since then the country has been ruled the descendants of those 6 champions.
Legal Structure
Alira follow a legal structure which suggests that all crimes are judged by Greandor. The elders are said to voice that will, and the elders personally elect representatives to extend that will to rest of the country.
